Update March 28

Hello patient followers!

So, I have been trying to come up with a direction for this blog. I am going to try to aim for 3 posts weekly. Hopefully, the days I will post will be Tuesday, Thursday, and one day on the weekend. This will include art, travel, and just general life posts. This will give me time to create good content while at the same time giving me structure to keep on track.

Thank you so much again for your patience! On Thursday, I will have a new post about my recent trip to California.

Have an amazing day! -Amy

Update coming soon!

Hello! Sorry I’ve been on hiatus for the past two months. Life has been crazy. I will be posting tomorrow about my new plan for the direction of this blog.

Also, in celebration of the new movie being  out here is a sketch of Belle from the 1991 version of Beauty and the Beast.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have an amazing day!

Animal Princess Sidekicks! Princess 13: Moana

Hello! So the final princess of my Disney animal princess sidekick series is Moana. I adore this movie. It’s beautiful and I love how her sidekicks represent the two aspects of her personality. So today I have Hei Hei and Pua.

I am going to take a week off from drawing but I should be back on Sunday January 15. If I have any updates I will be sure to post them. Have an amazing day!

Travel Day: De Leon Springs State Park

Hello! Today is the first entry of my new travel series. The first stop is De Leon Springs State Park, De Leon Springs Florida. This is a beautiful state park that has a rich history. The visitor’s complex has displays of the different eras of the park from early Native American settlement to tourist attraction. The park itself has many activities such as hiking, swimming, canoe and kayak rentals, and a historic/eco boat tour. There is a cypress tree that is believed to be at least 500 years old called the Methuselah tree. Also, there is a plethora of wildlife all around the springs and throughout the trails. We had a great time walking the trails and dipping our feet in the spring. One of the biggest highlights was the Old Spanish Sugar Mill restaurant. At this restaurant, you can have unlimited make-it-yourself pancakes! Toppings are extra, but we had fun cooking our food right in front of us. Peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes are amazing just saying. We did have to wait 3 hours to be seated because the place is so popular. We just hiked and enjoyed the park until our name was called over a loud speaker. To be honest, we didn’t know where we were going until a little earlier that day so we didn’t prepare much. Despite this, we still had a great day! There is a lot to do at this state park and I will probably go back someday. That is all I have to report today. If you have any suggestions where I should go next in Florida, please write it in the comments below! Thank you for reading! Have an amazing day!
